Not last weekend. It was fairly cold on Saturday and on Sunday, the winds were 15kts with gusts over 30kts.
First off, strong winds are no fun generally, as I have covers over the cabin area and the engine. Wrestling with those in a strong wind is not fun.
Second, my home `drome has one runway and those winds were blowing directly across it. That's waay above the crosswind component that I want to deal with.
I skipped out on going to the rifle range, as messing with a large target frame in strong winds did not seem like much fun, either.
