Scumbag Insurance Companies

Oxford Insurance and its parent company, UnitedHealth Group, used "independent research" by a company called Ingenix to justify screwing millions of people out of health insurance claims.

Turns out Ingenix is wholly owned by UnitedHealth Group. So now Oxford and UHG are coughing up a $50 million settlement, even though they "did nothing wrong."
"Some patients plan to bring a class action lawsuit against UnitedHealth Group."
"Death by litigation." Serves those bastards right.
