Anybody Who Buys Into This Bullshit Is Dumber Than They Look

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is the front-runner to win the Republican presidential nomination in 2012, according to online oddsmakers.
Right. So let's take a look back at what some oddsmakers were saying three years ago, shall we?
Analysts and oddsmakers at BetUS.com say Republicans are favored with 3-4 odds to win the White House again in 2008. The leading Republican is Rudolph Giuliani with 1-2 odds, and John McCain in a close second at 2-1.
And then, in 2007, this is what the oddsmakers were saying:
The bookmakers have already weighed in: New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton is the odds-on favorite both to win her party's nomination and then to go on to capture the White House next fall over former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani.
I hope they lost their fucking shirts. Giuliani didn't win a single primary; he spent something like $59 million and got one delegate in Nevada. We all know how well it turned out for Clinton and the Party of Hoover, too.

Anyone paying serious attention to what the oddsmakers are saying now about the 2012 campaign has mush for brains.

  1. Just a game to shape opinion early on to suit their desires. We know more than most of those assholes.

There's a new review just out on the movie you didn't go see.

  2. I want to believe that Sarah Palin will become nothing more than an answer to a trivia question. Today, I lean in that direcrtion. GOD, can you imagine what she would have been like as a President had Mc and she won and he kicked the bucket?
