Rules, Like Taxes, Are For the Little People

NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg wants a third term at the job, even though his job is term-limited to two terms.

It's the same brand of egomania that afflicted Rudy Giuliani, who was so convinced of his own indispensability that he sought to postpone the 2001 mayoral election.

Bloomberg took the job knowing he was term-limited. He should abide by the limits. New York City will survive without his ass at the helm.

  1. All politicians are power-hungry douche bags who don't think the rules ought to apply to them.

And I mean ALL. Borough councilpersons, school board members -- all the way up to the Big office.
