"If that's the way it has come across, I apologize," she told CNN's Drew Griffin.
Bullshit. Her words were plain enough. The clear meaning is that there are parts of this nation that are not a part of the "real America" and which are truly anti-American. It has nothing to do with the way her words "came across," it has everything to do with what she said.
Anyway, I need to get to some work while I wait for the telephone guy to show up. Because that is what we do in the phony anti-American part of America where I live.
You know, places that vote for Democrats. Because you can't be a "real American" in Palin's eyes if you elect Democrats.
Funny - that whole class warfare thing is supposed to be the tool of democrats. I guess this goes deeper than class.....
ReplyDeletePalin is a well-dressed misery.
Rev. Wright said it, "God Damn America!"
ReplyDeleteI think it's safe to say that Palin's remark accurate but distasteful.
No, it is not "safe to say."
ReplyDeletePalin's remark was the product of a mind that is both ill-informed and bigoted. It is the product of listening to people like Rush Limbaugh and reading hate-spewing writers like Coulter. Palin has been trained to regard anyone who disagrees with her philosophy as unpatriotic, if not a traitor.
Palin and much of the Wingnut crowd are not patriots. They are, in fact, very anti-American in their viewpoints because they are truly monarchists.
The GOP of today would have been the Loyalists of 233 years ago. I think it is safe to say that in April of 1775, they would have backed the Crown.
