Here is Something I Do Not Understand

The mortgage market is in such a mess that the Bush Administration is taking over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (more on that later).

Unemployment is up again, now at 6.1% and that's using the rosy figures that the Federal government puts out. If you add in people who have dropped out of the job hunt because they can't find a job as well as part-time workers who want a full time job, but can't find one, the real unemployment rate is over 10%.

Times are tough, no doubt about that.

So one has to wonder why Cindy McCain would wear an outfit to the GOP convention that cost her over $300,000 to put together. Do they really think that people don't pay attention to shit such as this?

Yeah, the GOP really does care about the average American working stiff. And if you believe that, I can cut you a fine deal on the Brooklyn Bridge.

  1. She has to spend that money! She's stimulating the economy!

Really, the disgusting part is that Laura looked better and spent 1/75th the price. Heck, Laura spent "merely" a couple mortgage payments, not an entire house worth of money. Cindy's watch cost more than Laura's entire outfit!

Now, seeing that her outfit cost more than the President makes in 6 months, how on earth will she manage if John is actually elected?
