So some Republican goon in Florida has a billboard up with the image of the burning World Trade Center and the logo "Don't Vote for a Democrat"

Well, that game can work the other way:

    I should also add that, in a perverse way, I hope that republican ad goes nationwide. Then we find out whether this country's populace is functionally literate or not. Let's really boil this thing down to the dumbest essentials---most Dubya backers think it, so why not make it a campaign? The let's see how the rest of the country reacts. If that ad wins McCain the election, then we know EXACTLY where we live.

    Anonymustache, that is much the same argument that I made against the "no Black man is going to be electable" by the HillBots.

    If we a really are a nation of racist, ignorant cranks, let's just get that out on the table for all to see.

    Oh, I love that. It's incredibly fitting. They just don't go to the trouble of burning crosses anymore. Instead, they sit in offices with HR Director on the door and weed out resumes with "black" sounding names. Or teach their kids to hate black people and Mexicans. Or act all fake and phony around "colored" people because they don't want to "offend" anyone.
