Private Harrier

This is a nice story about Art Nalls, a retired Marine pilot, who bought his own private Harrier.

I do have one quibble: a Yak-3 is not a jet.

$75 per minute to fuel a Harrier? Yikes! The comment about it "falling like a rock" in a glide is about right, a Harrier has a glide ratio of maybe 3 to 1, which makes it probably the worst gliding airplane since the Seabee.
