Exporting Christmas

Santa's suits are made in China. The last American maker of Santa suits shipped its production over there.

The saddest thing in the article was that Pittsburgh seems to have a museum collection of stuff that is no longer made in that city:

"Ms. Greenberg said she has given some suits to the Senator John Heinz Pittsburgh Regional History Center, where they can take their place alongside other things that aren't made here any more."

I wonder if they have some piles of ingots from Monongahela Metal Works.
