Well, This is Different; GITMO Edition

The chief judge of the kangaroo courts tribunals once wrote a paper that concluded that military tribunals are a bad idea. While the Times has picked up this story now, it seems that this story was out there, at least in Australia.

I did a fast Google search, the paper does not seem to have been picked up by their spiders as of yet. But it will be.

I am going to be very interested in reading it, as I have been opposed to these tribunals since I read the first Executive Order in 2001 that established the tribunal system. It was a complete joke; my thought then was that any lawyer who would be involved with designing or administering those tribunals should be disbarred.

I still feel that way.
