The other day, on the way home, I heard a piece on NPR where Rep. John Boehner was trying to explain that no, his party was not merely a group of obstructionist thugs doing the bidding of Stupie McJackboots.
One thing I noticed is that whenever he had a chance to refer to the other party, Boehner called it the "Democrat Party."
Let's be clear on this: Deliberately mispronouncing the name of the other guy gives the lie to any attempt to portray yourself as being "reasonable". The Republicans say it that way because they have all of the ethics and integrity of a back-stabbing thug who thinks that the latest edition of Spiderman is fine literature.
The Republican Party is nothing more than the Communist Party with a different economic agenda. But they at least have the discipline of the Communists, unlike, say, the Democrats, who have neither spine nor discipline.
