Apparently, in order to have room in the Pakistani jails to hold dissidents and democracy activists, Musharraf is releasing members of the Taliban.
After all, what can we expect when we only pay him $1.2 billion a year in cash? Being a ruthless dictator is a high overhead job, what with keeping his agents of oppression happy and all that. And we are paying him in dollars, it's not as though we were paying him in a hard currency such as the Euro. He probably is asking Chimpy for a raise in his allowance.
