First off, you have to wonder why anyone is falling for the "maybe we can withdraw some troops" line of shit that is being bandied about by Bush and Petraeus. We've been down this road before, Bush was talking about troop cuts before the Surge was announced. The line from the Bush Administration has always been that troop cuts are on the table. If you think that is a real prospect, then go ahead and try and kick that football, Charlie Brown.
Second, Bremer was not the one who decided to disband the Iraqi Army, it was Cheney and Rumsfeld.

My prediction is that whatever Bush's current star-wearing sock puppet, Gen. Petraeus, says, the Democrats will cower and do nothing.
The Republicans in Congress are little more than Bush's lackeys. The Democrats in Congress are gutless.
We are so screwed.
