The "limited withdrawal" being talked about in the press today is nothing but bullshit, smoke and mirrors. This is a "withdrawal" that brings the troop strength roughly back to where it was before the Surge, back when the American people sent a message on election Day to work to bring this war to a close. Not to escalate it, not to end it.And the Bush Administration is talking about bringing the troop levels back to that point as some sort of grand gesture.
What a load of horseshit.
The really amazing thing is that there are people in the press and in this country that are swallowing that load of rancid solid bovine exhaust as if it were the finest DelMonico steak.
It is purely amazing how many people can be fooled all of the time.
