INS, aka La Migra, operated for seventy years before it was broken up in 2003 as part of the creation of the DHS. Its enforcement arm became ICE.
I mention that because, for ninety years, INS/ICE agents didn't go around wearing masks like a bunch of gun thugs from a Mexican cartel or a neo-Nazi militia. They only adopted masks when Stephen Miller shifted ICE's mission from immigration enforcement to state terror. Besides the masks, ICE agents have been waving their guns around at every opportunity, like a bunch of badly trained mall cops.
On second thought, I apologize. It is probably a deep offense to mall cops everywhere to compare them to ICE agents.
