In Florida, gas stations are charging a buck a gallon more for using credit cards.
Shit like that is usually unsustainable without some collusion between the gas station owners, who all know each other. But nobody in the DoJ is going to be looking, because Bribe-Baby Bondi has everyone chasing maids and groundskeepers who are not legal residents.
Speaking of that, has anyone seen the ICEstapo raiding the meatpacking plants? i'm guessing that's a pretty solid "no".

In Ca. we have Arco self serve gas stations. They have ATMs at the pump that take cash, or you can pay a higher price per gallon and use a card. It's not a full buck more but it adds up. I quit playing that game some time ago. Gas is pricey enough without their help.

I used to watch for gas wars as in how low can they go. I'd see shaving
ReplyDelete.1 cent in some cases. That was when gas was 26.9 cents a gallon.
Charge more, suffer loss of business.
