The US Marshals Service has deputized members of Elon Musk’s private security detail, giving them certain rights and protections of federal law enforcement agents, three law enforcement officials familiar with the matter told CNN.

ReplyDeleteIf they are now deputized did they have to go through the same background checks and training as a US Marshal? Or does just saluting in the Musk way meet all the qualifications. Maybe they could give them all astronaut licenses with just one test. They all get into a Musk rocket with Musk and then see if they can make into orbit and back, flying manually.
