Import duties have been collected by the Customs Service since before the founding of the Republic, but Cadet Bone Spirs is, apparently, ignorant of that fact, despite having already been president. And the Stable Genius who wants to shrink the size of government now wants to create an entirely new department?
He is barking mad. And so are his supporters.
Oh good luck on that. Or maybe the hilarity of that.

funny how the republicans say they want to shrink government yet seem to add more layers. Shrub invented the TSA, ICE and the Department of Homeland Security. The Orange Slug invented Space Farce and now this silliness to back his idea that the exporting countries pay the tariff. Just more departments to do what was done by existing departments before. He wanted to branch off part of the Navy by creating the Underwater Navy for the submarines but someone one told him then it would be the U.N. and he was reminded how he was laughed at by the UN. (not quite true but believable)

The Orange nitwit is so enamored with his Tariff plan, he is already planning on what to do with the money. If he were any more stupid, we could hope for him to forget to breathe.
