Memo to J6 Defendants

Vixen Stragely wrote about one defendant who is in an absolute tizzy that she is being prosecuted for her actions on J6.

Ten Bears has no sympathy for them. He did a lot of outlaw shit in his day, got beaten by the cops a few times, locked up some, and he never, ever, hit a cop.

The memo to the J6 Perps is this: When you step outside of the law, you've got to ride the rap. As the old saying goes; if you can't do the time, don't do the crime.

  1. Odd how somehow Ten Bears comes to the conclusion that the Jan 6th protestors somehow wanted to harm cops because a few brought a nightstick to the party. Since the cops were there with nightsticks (and pistols) can we assume that they were there to harm to protestors?

Pretty big jump without any evidence.

But that's the whole thing about the Jan 6th protest, innit? Lots of innuendo and seemingly unsubstantiated charges without any real basis in actual fact. Lots of massaging the story to try and make something from Whole Cloth.

Remember, the George Floyd/BLM protests, with actual weapons, real violence, and lots of arson , were "mostly peaceful" according to the Left.

  2. Right, most criminals bring weapons merely to protect themselves. Your logic is stunning.

And nobody seemed to complain about BLM protesters being arrested when they crossed the line.

Hey, maybe the J6 insurrectionists should have been treated the way Your Orange Jesus thought protesters should be treated-- by shooting most of them in the legs when they stormed the Capitol.

Would that have cheered you up?

  3. I agree with Ten Bears (again) and have a somewhat similar background. Trying to harm a cop is, above all else, stupid. Yes, it's also wrong, even when they get up to the vile shit some of them sometimes get up to. We hired them to do that stuff, and if you don't like what they do, take it up with their bosses' bosses. I've had a handgun in a shaking cop-hand pointed at my head more than once, and never so much as raised my voice at them. My mom worked for criminal defense attorneys for most of her career, so I learned something about how to behave around cops from listening to her.
My friend Jack, who did 23 months in Soledad North for a half ounce of shitty pot, said this:
"You may be able to take any of them on toe to toe, but they have more toes than you do and you have to sleep some time while they work in shifts."
What Fergus did to those cops at the capitol is a crime.
Yes, I said what Fergus did, as none of those meatheads would have been there had he not wanted them to be there.
I would like to see Fergus face some of the same consequences that anyone else would face for getting all of those cops beat up.

  5. It is really simple b...

Cops defend their selves if threatened, abused, or hurt by a perp.
You managed to ignore the cop that was crushed in a door, another
that was beaten with the plastic shield. Then there were those
that were sprayed with chemical spray. You avoid a lot when it
    doesn't conform to your reality.

Facts are sticky things and wishing them away doesn't change
them. For the simplest, the cops were there to prevent entry.
The crowd forced entry, that is a crime at the simplest
trespassing, doing damage vandalism, hurting people assault,
and taking things is theft. If any one did any of those
things on your your property and house how would it go
    for them?

Ten Bears was protesting what the government participated in and
was not trying to destroy the government. As someone from the era
who had some protesting history we were trying and get government
to behave better, rather than trying to wreck it. Until recently
I felt that we did till the house wreckers came.

  7. B, Do you think that when Putin sent his tanks into Ukraine it's on them that they fired on the Russians who were stopping by for a neighborly visit? Shame on them for having an armed defense force instead of just a welcome mat.

  8. Gee, Eck: Like you all ignored the fact that the cop who DIED (I believe his name was Sicknick) wasn't killed by the protesters, but rather a medical condition? You kept that lie going for over a year,.
Same with your lie about being "crushed" by the door, Not fully factual. If you bother to look, you'll find that you are incorrect. I know it hurts to have your urban legend destroyed, but try to find out the truth.

Your analogy to Ten Bears was poor, as those protestors were trying to make sure that their objections were noted and that the facts about the election irregularities were not ignored and bypassed (which is what was happening). Same as Ten Bears protest, except that this one frightened the Democrats.

You gotta find one standard here, or you become ignorable. Pick a standard for truth and pick one for behavior, They aren't mutable depending on Left or right.
