A Rough Rainfall Tracker

The NWS has a way that you can see the last three days' worth of weather at any aiport that reports the weather. This is it for Santa Barbara, CA

This is the HTML Code: https://w1.weather.gov/obhistory/KSBA.html What you do is strip out the SBA and insert the code for the airport that you want to see (the "K" is common to all CONUS airports). For instance, Sacremento is SMF. https://w1.weather.gov/obhistory/KSMF.html

The airport codes in this are case-sensitive.

  1. At what point does rainfall become a problem for airplanes? Those plane tires don't seem to have deep tred.
