A man with an airtight alibi spent six weeks in jail, both on the word of an intoxicated witness and because a cop couldn't have been bothered to do his job.
Here's hoping that the City gets roundly pummeled in court. But if they have an ounce of sense, they'll just open up their checkbook and write one with lots of zeros.
