The Tea Party's going to go batshit (or "batshitter"? "even more batshit") if they come to believe that Boehner's resignation was just a ploy to hamstring the Tea Partiers in the GOP House caucus. But They may not matter, for there'll be enough Democrats who would be happy to make up the difference in votes and have a GOP Speaker who is beholden to them.
These are indeed interesting times.
