Falcon 9-Dragon Launch to ISS

Launched in fine form before dawn:


That second-stage engine nozzle bell glows nicely!

The launch narration has some mention of the descent of the first stage. The soft-landing of the first stage onto a barge didn't go so well. I presume they'll eventually get to recovering and reusing the first stages.

At this point, it's an engineering problem. So it's doable by the proper applications of brains and cash.

  1. Those ARE noisy, but generating that much power DOES generate some noise! The loudest I ever heard was a Saturn 5.
