Jerrie Mock, R.I.P.

Jerrie Mock passed away yesterday. She was 88.

She was the first woman to fly around the world, a feat she accomplished fifty years ago in a Cessna 180.

  1. This rang a bell. I was like 13 and my family had recently moved to Columbus. I had completely forgotten about this until you mentioned her.
