The one good thing about it is that now we get to see how the companies that have said they are for equality and freedom truly feel.
Target, which has said that it supports equal rights for gay people, opened up its walled to shower $150,000 on a gay-bashing candidate for governor in Minnesota.
Target felt the need to send out an e-mail to its employees that said that the company really does care about its gay and minority employees and that the fact that they gave a boatload of cash to an immigrant-bashing homophobic politician was nothing personal.
Bullshit. Suppose a candidate for governor in Minnesota was completely in synch with everything Target wanted for a business-friendly politician. But there was one problem-- the guy was an "Exalted Cyclops" in the KKK.
Would Target give that guy a lot of money?
I'm betting that the answer is "yes".
