So she cannot handle the political pressures of being the governor of one of the more unpopulated pissant states and she wants to be the president? Even George W. Bush did a full term and won re-election as governor two years before he was installed as president.
There has to be something more to this. One does not get elected to senior elective office and then quit in the middle of the term without a good damn reason, whether it is health-related or to try to avoid serious legal problems.
And just what is with her referring to herself in the first-person plural? "We know we can effect positive change outside government," Palin said at one point in the festival of random association that passed as a press conference.
"Weird" doesn't begin to describe Palin. This press announcement, timed for a Friday afternoon of a holiday weekend, has all of the hallmarks of the "I was brainwashed" comment of George Romney.
