This Movie Will Probably Seriously Suck

The Day The Earth Stood Still, starring Keanu Reeves


Keanu Reeves shows less emotion in his acting than Honda's Asimo robot, so he probably was a good pick for the role of an unemotional space alien.

But beyond that, the commercials for this movie now tout that it is the only place to see the trailer for "X-Men: Wolverine." If you have to sell a movie by saying that if you go to it, you can see an ad for another movie, brother, you are in deep shit.

    I liked the original; I see no reason to remake it.

    I'm not a fan of the first one. I don't care for "message movies," I agree with Samuel Goldwyn when he supposedly said: "If you want to send a message, send a telegram."
