Well, That Was a Good Idea

Comcast went to cable telephones only, which I don't trust. So I switched to Verizon for the better reliability of telephones with old-fashioned two-wire cabling.

Of course, my phones are now out.

Verizon: It's the (non-working) network.

  1. Well according to my contract to update my cable to HDTV ready, the Comcast fellows have fifty minutes remaining to make it happen and I am taking a day off of work to beat them up about it or just clean my M1 and wallow in my clinging to God and guns... all of our services are poorer than they ought to be, and going to the Dark Ages is often a thought.... but not really.
