Beyond the snarky observation of how all of the White House minions are all saying the same thing about being "puzzled" and "that's not the Scott we knew," I got the sense that McClellan feels betrayed by how the Bush Administration functioned. He mentioned more than once that Bush in Texas had been a bipartisan governor, not a partisan hack.
Jon Stewart observed that the White House had the exact same reaction when Richard Clarke's first book came out.
