The involuntary sedation of people being deported, not for medical reasons, not because they pose a risk, but solely because the brownshirts at ICE (formerly INS) feel like it.
As violations of international law go, this pales in comparison to aggression and torture. But this is the sort of shit that the KGB used to routinely do.
The Bush Administration has turned this nation into the world's most powerful pariah state. If Barack Obama is the next president, he will have an Augean task in cleaning up the messes made by the troupe of grinning thugs in this administration. If, on the other hand, John McBush is the next president, it will be fascism as usual.
