Back to the Bad Old Days in Russia

Once again, the Russians are using psychiatric hospitals as a tool to stifle dissent. Their rationale seems to be that anyone who is not happy with the Putin regime has to be insane.

One would wonder why Der Monkey Fuhrer hasn't adopted the same policy, but probably because there is not enough room to hold 150 million people.

  1. Don't be so sure he won't adopt the same policy. There is a huge lobbying effort to make it easier to involuntary commit people in every state and it just passed in Illinois. Safegaurds that used to be in place are under attack and it is going to become so easy to commit that it will be easier to use the psychiatric commitment laws to suppress dissent than any other method. And all legal!
