If you're the sort of person who believes that hammering civilian populations from the air is a valid tactic, then you are both a war criminal by proxy and an idiot. For it's a bankrupt tactic that has failed time and time again since the Germans first tried it with Zeppelins and the Paris Gun. And it is genocide, which is a war crime.
Also, to those who are going to be participating in Donnie's massive bombing campaign: It's a war crime. Those who participate in war crimes, especially at the lower levels, may be eventually prosecuted. Don't be shocked that if, in the 2070s, you hear a knock on the door and find yourself being arrested.
And every congresscritter who is not moving to impeach and remove Trump is complicit in his crimes.

The bombing of civilian targets and facilities are considered war crimes. We all have seen the video about refusing illegal orders. Can military members refuse to carry out the bombings? Asking for a friend.

They can refuse. It may come at a high cost, though.
DeleteThe ugly reality is the refusal to conduct the operations ordered would have to occur at a high enough level for it to be refusal for illegal orders. An order the bomb a bridge or a power plant can be legal, in certain cases. A military officer at the lower levels is generally precluded from making a big picture “is this legal” type decision in these cases, and there is a presumption of legality that comes with the orders from above. In other words, the pilots flying the bombers are basically placed in a position of presuming the orders have been evaluated and cleared by those at a higher level…if they refuse, Comrades consequences come raining down. We are quite possibly fucked.

DeleteThe dynamic never changes; do the right thing and face punishment, or do the wrong thing and face punishment (maybe later or not at all if you win). The "only following orders"excuse is "surprisingly" resilient.
