Eighty years ago (11/30/45), three German submariners were shot by firing squad for machinegunning the survivors of the SS Peleus. It's highly unlikely that Hegseth or Bradley will be staring down the muzzles of a squad of riflemen. But the precedent exists, and the law, both international and American, are clear:
It was murder most foul.

Hegseth and Bradley are about to be cut loose and sacrificed. It will, in all likelihood, significantly focus flag officers with regard to orders and legality…the Mango Mussolini will not be touched thanks to the SCOTUS.
ReplyDeleteThere are articles written before his appointment that Hegseth defended those that committed war crimes. All he has done is get into a position where his boss considers human lives not worth much. Trump didn't invent people like that but he has made it acceptable for them to crawl out from under their rock.
