A full busload of National Guard members were seen Tuesday morning picking up trash around Lafayette Park, just outside of the White House.

An official confirmed to FOX 5 DC that 110 National Guard members were picking up trash Tuesday at Lafayette Square, the National Mall, and the Tidal Basin.

Hep, take away a bunch of people from their jobs, families and lives in order to set them to work on litter detail. Bet that does wonders for troop morale.

But that's something Generalissimo Bone Spurs has no concept of. To him, they're all suckers and losers for signing up.

    Trump advisor: "Mr.President, The national guard has been picking up trash in DC.
    Trump: How many pieces did they pick up today?
    Advisor: 1,674.
    Trump: " Call for a press conference. I need to announce that 1674 bits of criminal trash have been removed from the streets and my plan to clean up DC is working."

    It's axiomatic that "The Troops Shall Not Be Idle (Nor Shall They Go Without Reflective Equipment)".
    It won't be long before First Sergeant has them painting the paving stones by the Reflecting Pool.
