The shooter had a small magazine, so he had to stop to reload. During the reloading process, Shaw was able to grab the gun away from the shooter. Also, if the gun is stored unloaded, even if the ammo is right next to it, the law doesn't apply either. The parent has not addressed how the guns were stored. Kudos to Gov. Our illustrious Lt. Governor believes that less entrances and exits to schools is a solution, not securing those entrances/exits, actually getting rid of most of those annoying fire doors and such. This was his response to questions about how the teen got the weapons. Imagine the Triangle Factory fire scenario in a school...

A number of my heavily armed co-workers dispute responsibility for securing their guns because the person taking them/using them would be breaking the law. I compared it to the fact that in some states (maybe all?) an insurance company can reject a claim for a car’s theft if it was left running or unlocked with the keys in it. They were outraged, “it’s illegal to steal a car, why should I be liable if someone does something illegal to steal from me?”

The simple concept of responsibility, especially when dealing with a deadly weapon or something that can be adapted as one, is absent in some people.CenterPuke88https://www.blogger.com/profile/17770056621255249861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7924773307171301256.post-77482306773270424372018-05-26T10:09:25.409-04:002018-05-26T10:09:25.409-04:00My thoughts and prayers are going to the innocent ...My thoughts and prayers are going to the innocent firearm in this case.Dark Avengerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02220642215040873632noreply@blogger.com
