Trump is Still Putin's Bitch
Also, he and his buddies stand to make bank on deals with Russia if they can force this war to an end, so they want to set things in motion so Ukraine has to capitulate.
He is a corrupt thug who cares about nothing other than his bank balance. Both he and everyone around him, Kushner, Witkoff, Musk, and the rest, belong in either GTMO or a SuperMax.

ReplyDeleteI've been wondering whether we may be witnessing the early stages of a broader geopolitical realignment — one in which major powers increasingly negotiate over each other's strategic interests, even without a formal agreement to divide the world into spheres of influence.
Another particularly striking development concerns the frozen Russian sovereign assets held in Europe. According to a Financial Times report on 14 October, Washington proposed that some of these assets be unfrozen and transferred to a financial vehicle under US oversight as part of efforts to revive peace talks. European representatives reportedly rejected the proposal, and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz insisted that the assets should remain under European control.
This raises a broader question: could frozen assets, sanctions relief and post-war reconstruction become bargaining chips in a wider US–Russian economic arrangement? If so, the implications would extend beyond Ukraine, potentially reshaping relations among Washington, Moscow and European capitals. For now, however, this remains a question rather than evidence of an agreed geopolitical settlement.
Recent developments make this question worth exploring. The Trump administration has reportedly linked economic incentives for Russia, including a deal involving Russian diesel exports, to efforts to bring Moscow back to negotiations over Ukraine. Separate reports have described discussions involving potentially large-scale US–Russian energy deals. Meanwhile, the war continues, Ukraine has challenged some of Washington's decisions, and European leaders remain concerned about the implications for their own security.

Trump is trying to align us with Russia, even as Russia helps Iran develop supersonic/hypersonic missiles to use against us.
