The War Powers Resolution might slow him down, but the Fascist Felon would claim that the law is an unconstitutional infringement on his powers and only the Almighty knowns what Johnny Roberts and the Supremes would say.

ReplyDelete1) we're going to immediately run into logistical nightmares of defending/attacking TWO OF THE LONGEST NATIONAL BORDERS ON THE PLANET. Noticeably a border with Canada that isn't as patrolled/defended like Mexico's.
2) we would need to recall all overseas military back to the US to provide enough soldiers/equipment to fight that war. (this is what Putin and Xi would love to see as Europe and Southeast Asia become vulnerable)
3) trump might activate the draft via Selective Service to take care of personnel needs, triggering draft riots by hundreds of thousands of young men and families who DON'T want to fight on trump's orders. It'll be the Vietnam protests on steroids.
4) most of the planet will sanction/cut off the U.S. as a pariah nation altogether, hurting us way more than trump's tariffs wars.
