McCain

Sen. John McCain, the 2008 Republican presidential nominee, Vietnam prisoner of war and political maverick in Congress for more than three decades, has been diagnosed with an aggressive type of brain tumor.

The 80-year-old Arizona lawmaker has glioblastoma, according to doctors at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, where McCain had a blood clot removed from above his left eye last Friday. He and his family are considering further treatment, including chemotherapy and radiation.
My heart goes out to Sen. McCain and his family. In the ranking of cancer, glioblastoma is a four-starred motherfucker.

  1. My mom was diagnosed with glioblastoma in '91. As she didn't have access to anything like the Mayo Clinic from where she lived in Eureka, she was dead in six weeks.
I hope senator McCain gets some remission and doesn't have to go through the awful pain that sometimes accompanies brain cancer. I may not agree with him on very much, but I don't doubt that he's a good man, and that he served his country with honor and distinction.

  2. That explains McCain's increasing vagueness and the lost look. He really is lost. As an unpopular admiral's kid McCain performed heroically in air combat and as a POW. trump's attack on McCain is just another stain on trump.
